If you consume only 2 half-pound hamburgers each week, you’re responsible for 728 pounds of carbon emissions from the production of those 104 burgers per year. That’s like driving 1,560 miles in a car!
Cattle, sheep, and goats belch out a lot of methane. Plus, 30% of all human-caused methane emissions come from manure. That’s a lotta poop!
So, take an easy Small Step that really matters! Replace at least two meaty meals every week with veggies that are organically grown and sustainably sourced!
